Our favourite curtains have to be our hand stitched interlined curtains, with either a double pinch pleat heading, a triple pinch pleat, inverted pleat, goblet or a Fan pleat. Using traditional handstitched methods, these really are the most beautiful and timeless curtains. With great thermal and noise cancelling qualities, they have to be the first choice!
If working with a smaller budget, we can make up curtains with our invisible machine stitching, using our felling machine, where we would normally hand stitch, keeping the labour costs down, so we really do cater for every budget. Our handstitched lined curtains come in a whole variety of different headings, Wave heading, Eyelet, Pencil pleat, Cottage heading, Flop over heading, Cartridge, Single Double or Triple pinch pleat, Inverted pleat, goblet or even tie top…we could go on?
The linings we use are made in Great Britain, and are all pre-shrunk for peace of mind. We carry stock of thermal and blackout linings and our deluxe satin linings, in White or Almond, however we can supply a rainbow of coloured linings too, or if you really want that designer finish, we have many reasonably priced fabrics to choose from
Our Intertherm interlinings are also pre-shrunk, and come in several different weights. We have the cotton domett light weight, used mainly for roman blinds, a medium weight for both curtains and roman blinds, or our heavy Bump interlining for our curtains, great at keeping out those cold drafts!
